Good news, bad guy: You got away after allegedly trying to rob a Gwinnett County bank Wednesday morning.

Not so good news: You didn't get any money, you're still wanted — and police have released crystal clear surveillance photos for all the world to see.

According to a news release from the Gwinnett County Police Department, the unidentified would-be robber walked into the Bank of America at 2724 Meadow Church Road near Duluth around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday. He then passed a note to a teller demanding money.

"The note instructed the teller not to put a dye pack in the money, and said that he was armed," police said.

The suspect "moved his hand to his hip as if he was armed with a concealed weapon," police said, but the teller reached for a nearby panic alarm.

The suspect then grabbed his note and left, possibly in a yellow passenger car.

He has not been identified. Surveillance photos show him wearing a black beanie and a shirt and tie.

Anyone with information about his identity is asked to contact Gwinnett County police at 770-513-5300.

Tipsters can also remain anonymous — and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000 — by visiting crimestoppersatlanta.org, calling 404-577-8477 or texting information to 274637.
