A man showed up at his ex-girlfriend’s workplace Wednesday morning and shot her in the head, Suwanee police said.

Nathanieo Pinkins, 30, was arrested the same afternoon, hours after allegedly shooting the woman at her job on Satellite Boulevard.

The woman, who has not been identified by police, was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center in stable condition shortly after the shooting.

Pinkins showed up at the computer business around 8:10 a.m. while the woman was in her car, police said. He fired multiple rounds at the car, and one hit her in the head, a police release said.

Pinkins was believed to have fled to Mississippi, but Gwinnett County police apprehended him before 2 p.m. Pinkins was found suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and has been transported to Gwinnett Medical Center, where he is expected to recover, Suwanee police said.
