Gwinnett County police say Zachary Miller stole $100 from a Subway restaurant and grabbed a sandwich before leaving.

A man jumped the counter and robbed a Subway shop in Norcross, snagging a sandwich on his way out, Gwinnett County police said.

Zachary P. Miller, 34, was arrested Wednesday morning in Knox County, Tennessee. He has multiple warrants in Tennessee and several Georgia jurisdictions, Gwinnett County police said.

Miller walked into the Subway on Medlock Bridge Road around 10:15 a.m. on Oct. 9. He ordered a sandwich, but when it was time to pay, he hopped over the counter and demanded cash from an employee, police said. He was able to get $100 and started to leave, but turned back to grab the sandwich, police said.

Miller is currently in custody of the Knox County Sheriff’s Department in Tennessee. It’s unclear when he would be extradited to Gwinnett County, where he is facing a charge of robbery by sudden snatching.
