Cops: Driver runs stop sign, causes police car to overturn

A driver ran a stop sign and crashed into an Atlanta police car Tuesday morning, causing the police car to overturn, police said.

The officer was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. The other driver was not hurt.

The accident occurred at Cherokee and Woodward avenues in southeast Atlanta about 8:30 a.m.
