A crash Wednesday night left a 65-year-old Marietta woman with serious injuries.

The woman is expected to live but might need surgery or extensive recovery, said officer Sarah O’Hara, spokeswoman for Cobb County police.

The crash happened about 8 p.m. on Old Canton Road at Roswell Road, O’Hara said in a news release.

A green 2015 Ford F-150 pick-up truck was heading south on Old Canton when a silver 2004 Honda Odyssey turned left onto Roswell in front of the Ford, police said.

The 18-year-old Marietta driver of the truck was not seriously injured. An ambulance took the woman to WellStar Kennestone Hospital.

When asked about possible charges, O’Hara said the crash was still being investigated.

Anyone with information about the crash can call police at 770-499-3987.
