Construction continues at Jimmy Carter Bridge in Norcross
Construction crews will battle the cold overnight this week to install panels for the Jimmy Carter Bridge at Interstate 85. Drivers can anticipate left lane closures between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Monday through Friday on Jimmy Carter eastbound and westbound between Goshen Springs and McDonough Drive.
In addition, one lane will close between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. southbound on I-85 between Exit 101 Indian Trail/Lilburn Road and Exit 96 Pleasantdale Road.
An additional southbound lane will close in the same area between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m, and a third lane will be added to the closures between midnight and 4 a.m.
