Submissions are being accepted for the 12th Annual Congressional Art Competitition sponsored by Congressman David Scott, D-Ga. The competition is open to high school students who live or attend public, private or home school in Georgia’s 13th district. To date, Scott has awarded more than $300,000 in scholarships to local students winners of his annual art competition. First-place winners will join other top winners from across the country. Their work will be displaced in the U.S. Capitol for a year. Entries must be received in Scott’s Smyrna or Jonesboro district office by Feb. 12. Winners will be announced March 1.
