Congressman gets key to Sandy Springs

U.S. Rep. John Lewis recently received a key to Sandy Springs to honor his support of the city.

Mayor Eva Galambos presented the award to the congressman, drawing a link between Lewis’ work to expand voting rights during the Civil Rights era and his support of a vote that created Sandy Springs in 2005.
