C. Hugh Richardson has been hired as the new director of College Park Power, the city’s electric utility. Richardson comes to College Park from Middle Georgia EMC, which serves Dooly, Pulaski, Wilcox, Houston, Turner and Macon counties. He will be responsible for managing one of the state’s most efficient utilities. College Park Power has some of the lowest rates in Georgia, specializing in green power, and it also manages the southeast’s largest Compressed Natural Gas facility. He starts with the city December 1.
