Michael Eby, an advanced-content science teacher at Barber Middle in Cobb County, was selected as a 2011 University of Georgia Project Integrated Science Learning Experiences grant recipient. The program is a two-week science study in Hawaii from June 7-21 that promotes a deeper understanding of science through hands-on activities. Eby has been teaching for nine years.
