Cobb County already prohibits alcohol in nude clubs, but just to make sure, it intends to add provisions to the county's alcohol ordinance to the same purpose.

Cobb held its first public hearing on the issue Tuesday night in which  no one testified.

The change to the county's alcohol ordinance would prohibit any person from engaging in live conduct exposing to public view the person’s genitals, the proposed ordinance says.

The purpose, the  county says, is to cut down on crime  and other unwanted behavior associated with alcohol in establishments that offer adult entertainment.

The next public hearing is 7 p.m. Feb. 23.
