Cobb County Police Department staff will host a free National Night Out activity 5-9 p.m. Aug. 7 at Jim Miller Park, 2245 Callaway Road, Marietta.
This event is part of the continued effort to build and strengthen public safety personnel’s relationships with the community they serve.
All are invited to enjoy an evening of food, fun and entertainment.
There will be public safety demonstrations by the Cobb Police and Fire Departments, inflatable and water activities for children, food trucks and live music.
National Night Out is the 35th annual community-building campaign that promotes camaraderie to ensure “our neighborhoods are safer, more caring places to live,” according to a county statement, bringing “police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.”
