The Cobb Library Foundation brings the Wild West to Marietta on June 25 with the first annual Wild West Fest at Jim Miller Park.
The event will feature lasso lessons and fast-draw demonstrations by real cowboys and cowgirls. There will also be a medicine show, a chuck wagon cooking demonstration and sheriffs arresting “bad guy” community leaders who won’t be released until they raise “bail money,” donations for the library.
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are $12 per person.
