Cobb hosts last animal adoption event

Oct 4, 2011The last of three animal adopt-a-thon events is scheduled for Saturday at the Cobb animal shelter.
The adopt-a-thons were part of the Cobb Animal Control’s competition in the ASPCA’s $100,000 Save More Lives Challenge to save more animals in the short term and increase the potential to save more lives in the future.
Saturday’s event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the shelter, 1060 Al Bishop Drive in Marietta and includes police K-9 demonstrations, raffles and special adoption rates.
