Even after his death, a popular Cobb County teacher and married father of two continued helping people. Despite suffering a massive head injury after being hit while jogging, Jeffery "Jay" Ingram's organs will benefit numerous others, his family said.
Jeffrey "Jay" Ingram, 32, of Kennesaw died Friday afternoon. He had been in critical condition since being struck around 5:15 a.m. on North Booth Road near Bells Ferry Road. Ingram was jogging along the edge of the roadway when he was struck by a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse driven by a Doraville man.
