The Cobb County Board of Commissioners agreed Tuesday, July 28, to allow the annexation of 3.9 acres to Powder Springs.
City Manager Pam Conner told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution the tract will be used for a Dollar General.
The property is on Brownsville Road between Hiram Lithia Springs Road and Oglesby Road.
Southwest Powder Springs and Robert Jordan made the request.
