Clayton and Fayette elections leaders have set up several dates for residents who want to see demonstrations and operations of the new voting machines.

The state has adopted voting equipment that print out paper copies of ballots after voters pick their candidates at the polls. The new process has, in some early voting, slowed wait times to vote as voters get used to the new machines.

Here are machine demonstration dates for Clayton County:

2 p.m.-7 p.m. Thursday, lower level of Southlake Mall at the 6th Annual Community Resource Fair for Clayton County Public Schools. The Mall is at 1000 Southlake Circle in Morrow.

9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, office of the Clayton County Board of Elections & Registration, 121 South McDonough Street, Jonesboro

6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. March 9, Forest Park City Hall, 745 Forest Parkway, Forest Park.

5 p.m.-7 p.m. March 12, office of the Clayton County Board of Elections & Registration, 121 South McDonough Street, Jonesboro.

9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. March 13, Kinship Care Resource Center, 849 Battle Creek Road, Jonesboro

Here are the Fayette County demonstration dates:

9 a.m. March 14, International House of Pancakes, 705 Jeff Davis Drive, Fayetteville

10 a.m. March 16, Fayette County Library, 1821 Heritage Parkway, Fayetteville.
