Clark Atlanta receives health grant

Clark Atlanta University received a $5.8 million federal grant for the school’s Center for Cancer Research and Therapeutic Development.

The five-year grant is to continue the research, training and outreach activities conducted in the African-American community by the program’s Center of Excellence for Prostate Cancer Research, Education and Community Services.

The award is from the National Institutes of Health and the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities.
