The city of Woodstock is reminding residents and area drivers about road closures in connection with the Christmas Jubilee and Parade of Lights Dec. 5.
Main Street/Rope Mill Road will be closed from Dupree Road to Woodstock Elementary School from 4:45 - 7 p.m. for the Parade and 3K Christmas Run. Roadblocks will also be placed at a number of intersections along Main Street, Rope Mill and Arnold Mill roads, Towne Lake Parkway, and Mill and Market streets.
The 5:30 p.m. parade both steps off from and ends at Woodstock Elementary School on Rope Mill Road, traveling down Main and several other streets through the heart of downtown.
