The Cherokee County School District got a clean bill of financial health for fiscal year 2014 from the district’s outside auditor last week.

Auditor Christian Hatch addressed the board on the report from Williamson and Company, which issued what it called a “clean” report with no findings. The results mean that no weaknesses or irregularities were uncovered with the district’s financial statements or with federal awards. Board members unanimously accepted the findings at Thursday night‘s meeting.

Also Thursday, the board approved school calendars for the next three years, ending with 2018-19. The calendars will be posted on the district’s website and will feature the “balanced” structure the district has utilized for more than ten years.
