Cherokee County announced plans for its Sixth Annual Cherokee Career Expo, where participants can network and receive resume assistance and career guidance for local jobs.

The Cherokee Office of Economic Development and Georgia Department of Labor will host the event Wednesday, March 18, at the Northside Hospital Cherokee Conference Center, 1130 Bluffs Pkwy, Canton. Resume review assistance begins at 1 p.m., and the expo proper runs from 2 to 6 p.m.

The event also will offer services for U.S. military personnel and their families. Hire Heroes USA will be on site to provide information about its free employment services to service members, veterans and military spouses.
