Police have charged four men in connection with a fatal shooting at an apartment complex in Sandy Springs.
Three of the suspects -- Gene Stephens, 19, of Atlanta, James Taft, 28, of Sandy Springs and Willy Jeanlouis, 28, of Sandy Springs -- have been arrested in the slaying of 25-year-old Patrick Placide, who was shot in the head at the Residences at Morgan Falls Apartments on April 14, Sandy Springs Police spokesman Lt. Steve Rose said.
All have been charged with felony murder. Jeanlouis, who was also shot in the head but escaped, is being charged for his role in setting up a marijuana deal that led to the shooting, Rose said.
A fourth suspect, Victor Scott, 24, is being sought on a felony murder charge.
Stephens, Taft and Jeanlouis are being held without bond in the Fulton County Jail. They are scheduled to appear in Fulton County Superior Court on April 30.
