Boo!

Sorry, that was scary. But, ya know, tis the season.

If you and yours would like to tone down the scary, Cobb County’s government and Acworth police are hosting free family-friendly Halloween events that can serve as an alternative to the usual trick-or-treat festivities.

For the 19th year, the county is hosting the Fall Festival of Fun. It will be at the new 41,00-square-foot Jim R. Miller Park, 2245 Callaway Road in Marietta.

And remember to bring a bag for your candy.
