CAU's Jazztet offers free Friday night concert
Student jazz musicians from Clark Atlanta University's Department of Music, will host a free concert at 6 p.m. Friday night at the Park Street Music and Art Complex, 793 Park St.
Under the direction of James Patterson, the CAU Jazztet is an offspring ensemble of the CAU Jazz Orchestra and has performed throughout Africa, the West Indies and Europe.
The group features Frank Hayes on alto saxophone; Allan Knighton on tenor saxophone; Phillip N. Davis on piano; Maria Montgomery on acoustic bass; and Christopher Belcher and Amir Henry on drums.
