The 29th Annual Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project returns to Léogâne, Haiti  to help families left hit hard by the 2010 earthquake.

The 2012 build will take place Nov. 25 through Dec. 1.Volunteers will build 100 houses during the week, according to Habitat for Humanity.

The Carters will join other  volunteers to build homes in an area considered to be the epicenter of the earthquake.

The Santo build is part of a larger Habitat shelter program funded by the Multilateral Investment Fund of the Inter-American Development Bank and many other donors.

Habitat for Humanity has operated in Haiti for nearly three decades and has helped more than 40,000 families through its five-year recovery program.
