The man that hit one vehicle, then drove into a Marietta building Friday morning is expected to face charges.

No one was injured when the driver, whose name was not released, tried to pass another vehicle on a one-way street, police said. Instead of stopping, the Mitsubishi passenger car kept driving.

"The vehicle then drove through the front doors," Officer Jennifer Murphy with Marietta police told the AJC.

No one was inside The KitchenWorks store on the Marietta Square at the time of the crash, which temporarily closed Atlanta Street.

The crash broke a lot of glass and damaged some displays, but won't force the store to close, store owner John Gum told the AJC.
