Car crashes into DeKalb Family Dollar store

Serious injury was avoided when a car crashed into a Family Dollar store in DeKalb County on Saturday afternoon, officials said.

Channel 2 Action News reported that the driver of a Hyundai Sonata told authorities she was unable to stop while pulling up to the Family Dollar on Rockbridge Road and crashed into the front of the store. The driver and two passengers refused treatment at the scene.

A person inside the store was hurt but the injuries were not believed to be serious. The person was taken to the hospital as a precaution, Channel 2 reported.
