The candidate rosters are now set for the Nov. 5 elections in Peachtree City, Fayetteville and Tyrone.

In Peachtree City, City Council Post 1 incumbent Phil Prebor will face Oobi Childs and Morgan Hallman; for Post 2, Darryl Csicsila and Steven Newton will challenge incumbent Mike King. Fayetteville Mayor Edward Johnson will run unopposed for re-election, but Post 1 councilman Harlan Shirley will compete with Darryl Langford and Philip Onyedumekwu. Kathaleen Brewer will face three challengers—Terrell Joe Clark, Oyin Mitchell and Kevin Pratt II—for the Post 2 seat. In Tyrone, Eric Dial is running unopposed for another term as mayor, but incumbent town council member Linda Howard will square off against David Barlow for Post 1, while Post 2 will be a three-way race among Billy Campbell, Michael Edwards and Melissa Hill.

Open seats in Brooks and Woolsey will have no opposition.
