Cancer Society Swordsman's Ball set for Aug. 11

The American Cancer Society's 39th annual Swordsman's Ball is scheduled for Aug. 11 at the Cobb Galleria Center.

The black-tie optional gala, themed "Warriors of the Fight" this year, will focus on people who surround cancer patients during their cancer battles. The event will feature a silent auction, musical performance by Atlanta variety band, Prime, and a video with cancer survivors and their "warriors" with them in the fight.
