California Pizza Kitchen has closed its restaurant in East Cobb, the company confirmed Wednesday.

The closure of the restaurant at 4250 Roswell Road in Marietta brings the brand’s presence in metro Atlanta down to five locations.

Company spokeswoman Kate Franklin said California Pizza Kitchen “looks forward to continuing serving patrons” at its five other locations in metro Atlanta: Midtown, Buckhead, Alpharetta, Dunwoody and Peachtree Corners.

Franklin also said the company is working to ensure employees at the East Cob restaurant will be placed in positions at the other California Pizza Kitchen locations around the region.
