Atlanta police Tuesday were investigating a smash-and-grab burglary at a Poncey Highland clothing store.

According to police dispatchers, three men dressed in dark clothing broke a window at Urban Outfitters on Ponce de Leon Avenue at North Highland Avenue just before 5 a.m., then fled in a white Pontiac.

Police spokeswoman Kim Jones told the AJC that the thieves threw a large rock through a window on the North Highland side of the store, then entered and took two racks of blue jeans priced at $29.99 a pair and possibly several shirts.
