A Florida-based burger chain that entered the metro Atlanta market years ago has lost another one of its locations.

The recent closure of BurgerFi's Midtown location was, as explained on the restaurant's voicemail recording, a difficult decision that was "strictly business." The voice assures callers that the chain will continue to expand in the metro Atlanta market.

BurgerFi has area restaurants in CNN Center, Kennesaw, Alpharetta and Lawrenceville. The Gwinnett location opened in January from young brothers Shahravi and Hasnain Lakhani.

The chain's Emory Point location shuttered in 2017. The Midtown eatery was located at 77 12th St. NE.
