Buford Highway, the road known among metro Atlanta foodies for international flavors, will have even more of a draw on Oct. 29.

The We Love BuHi and PopATL organizations are presenting the inaugural Buford Highway Halloween Parade & Pop-Up from 5 to 8 p.m. The temporary park will be at 5018 Buford Highway NE, Chamblee, and feature games, music, decoration workshops and more, according to a news release.

The costume parade begins at 7 p.m., following Buford Highway north to Pinetree Plaza before returning to the park. Afterward, businesses along the parade route plan to pass out candies from around the world to trick-or-treaters.

The event is sponsored by Atlanta Chinatown Mall, Chong Qing Hot Pot, City Farmers Market, Plaza Fiesta and Telemundo Atlanta.
