Buford Dam Road closing lanes for maintenance

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Lake Sidney Lanier Project Management Office will intermittently close Buford Dam Road in Gwinnett and Forsyth counties between 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 16-18 for routine maintenance.

Those accustomed to driving across the dam can expect road closures from near Pannell Road in Buford to the Sawnee Park on the west side of the lake in Cumming. Maintenance will include sealing cracks, fixing pavement markings and replacing streetlights across Buford Dam. Questions: 770-945-9531.
