Budget committee meeting set for DeKalb school board

The DeKalb school board’s budget, finance and facilities committee will meet 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the district’s headquarters, 1701 Mountain Industrial Boulevard, Stone Mountain. The committee is scheduled to discuss state and local revenue projections and tentative 2012 budget recommendations. Interim superintendent Ramona Tyson said the district is not facing a shortfall this year.
