Buckhead woman crowned Ms. GA Nursing Home
An 81-year-old Atlanta woman was crowned Ms. Georgia Nursing Home.
Mary Hood, of Signature Healthcare of Buckhead, received the honor Saturday at the 36th annual pageant.
The former nanny and housekeeper was crowned by Miss Georgia 2010. The pageant is sponsored by the Georgia Health Care Association.
As part of her duties, Hood will open the Georgia Golden Olympics in September and attend several events throughout the year, officials said.
