A Buckhead grocery store was robbed late Thursday night by two men wearing hockey masks and gray hoodies, police said.

The robbers held up the Publix store on West Paces Ferry Road at Northside Parkway just before 11 p.m. Thursday, Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones said.

Witnesses told police that the two men left the store carrying a cash register, then got into a blue or gray four-door 1995 Chevrolet Caprice Classic with Georgia tag BKY06732, Jones said.

No injuries were reported.

Jones said the thieves made off with cash, checks, stamps and vendor and store coupons. She did not know if the men were armed.
