Brookhaven council acknowledges local award
The Brookhaven city council will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road. During the meeting the council will give recognition of the Intelligent Transportation Society of Georgia 2015 Project of Significance Award, received by the city.
The council will consider a resolution authorizing the installation of stop signs to the intersection of Cates Avenue and Francis Street, as well as approval of the city’s 2015 Georgia Department of Transportation Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant Application.
There will also be a public hearing for the consideration and approval of the city’s proposed noise ordinance.
