The arm of the Atlanta Braves charged with development has announced a 140-room is coming to The Battery.
Aloft Hotel, owned by W Hotels, is set to open in 2020. It joins the 264-room Omni that opened in the shadow of the ballpark in January.
The team said there will be a bar, cafe and lounge with a pool table at Aloft.

“The addition of another hotel inside The Battery Atlanta continues our transformation of this community not just physically, but financially through the tax digest,” said Mike Plant, who heads the Braves Development Company.
A team spokeswoman did not immediately respond Wednesday when asked how much the hotel is expected to add to the Cobb tax digest.
The new hotel means 90 percent of The Battery is leased, the team said in its announcement. There were always plans to expand, adding possibly a small grocery store on the edge of The Battery.

The hotel’s announcement comes months after word of two other spots coming to the mixed-use behemoth.
Silverspot Cinema, one of those fancy movie theaters with wine and a charcuterie board, signed a lease for a 38,000-square-foot theater in April.
Savi Provisions, a specialty grocer, said in May that it expects to open its seventh location in The Battery in late 2019.
