Braselton, Hoschton, schools to apply for state grant

Braselton, Hoschton, West Jackson Primary School and West Jackson Intermediate School plan to renew their application for a state grant program designed to develop better pedestrian access to local schools.

The "Safe Routes to School" Infrastructure Grant Program is administered by the Georgia Dept. of Transportation.

Children attending the schools will bring home a transportation survey for parents to complete over the next few weeks. The results of the survey will then be compiled and submitted with the grant application.
