The Association of American Educators Foundation awarded a $500 COVID-19 Relief Grant to Kelly Cadman, a mathematics educator with Brighten Academy Charter School in Douglasville to purchase mathematics programming and materials.

Brittany Wright of Powder Springs graduated Cum Laude with a BA in English from Avila University.

Dotson Shawn Griffin of Riverdale and Hannah Elizabeth Marshall of Lawrenceville graduated in May from Mars Hill University.

Zifeng Wang, Jessica Blattel and Hanna Buckland of Grayson, Kenneth Burkholder of Loganville, Robin Colwell of Tucker, Mark Cronemeyer of McDonough, Dillon Frazier of Snellville, Jessica Huffman of Acworth, Khaw Thawn Kham, of Stone Mountain and Christopher Webb of Lawrenceville graduated in May from Bob Jones University.

Carlie Martin and Margaret Frye of Alpharetta and Lucinda Kirby of Acworth graduated from the University of New Hampshire in May.
