The Boy Scouts of America will continue to celebrate its 100th anniversary as the interactive Adventure Base 100 rolls into metro Atlanta.

The 10,000-square-foot "campus"  will be in Atlanta from Friday until Sunday at Piedmont Park during the Dogwood Festival. The event is free and open to the public. The hours are from  noon until 9 p.m. on Friday; 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Saturday; and 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Families will get to test their skills on the rope course, see the traveling museum and experience other activities. In addition, would-be Scouts can talk to members of local councils to learn more about scouting.
