Boy, 7, run over by truck mom was driving in Clayton County

Feb 17, 2011A 7-year-old was conscious after being run over by the pickup truck his mother was driving Thursday afternoon, Clayton County police said.
The boy, whose name was not released, was flown to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston, Lt. Tina Daniel with Clayton County police told the AJC. His condition was not immediately available.
Investigators believe the boy tried to jump in the bed of a pickup truck his mother was driving, Daniel said. The child fell to the ground and was accidentally run over, she said.
