A 7-year-old boy fell out of a third-story apartment window Monday evening in DeKalb County.
The incident happened just before 7 p.m. at the La Carre Apartments at 700 North Indian Creek in Clarkston when the boy was leaning on the window, a family member told Channel 2 Action News.
The boy's shorts got caught on a tree and neighbor helped free the boy by cutting his shorts with a knife, a neighbor told Channel 2.
The boy was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
