Atlanta City Councilmember Kwanza Hall is inviting Atlantans to a "grand community cleanup" focused on Boulevard on Saturday, May 19. Participants are scheduled to meet at 9 a.m. for refreshments in the parking lot of Fort Street United Methodist Church, 562 Boulevard NE 30308. Hall said potential participants may contact him at khall@atlantaga.gov for additional information. A variety of churches, community organizations, environmental groups, urban farms and police organizations have signed up to help so far, according to a press release from Atlanta's City Council.
