A metro Atlanta mall was forced to temporarily close Saturday afternoon due to a power outage.

Arbor Place in Douglasville closed around 4 p.m., the mall posted on its Twitter page. The cause of the power outage was not immediately known.

Shortly before 6 p.m., power had been restored and the mall reopened.

The mall on Douglas Boulevard was scheduled to be open until 10 p.m. Saturday during the busy holiday shopping weekend.
