Georgia Schools Superintendent John Barge is looking for a few good students.

The superintendent is accepting applications for a spot on the 2012-2013 Student Advisory Council, which gives him feedback on how decisions made at the state level affect students.

Students in grades nine through 12 are eligible to apply. The council will meet twice, on November 7 and on March 6, 2013. Council members must be able to attend both meetings.

Applications can be downloaded from the Georgia Department of Education's home page and must be received by the department by September 14.
