The second annual Harvest Balloon Festival will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Sterling on the Lake, 7004 Lake Sterling Boulevard, Flowery Branch. The event will feature tethered balloon rides, a balloon glow and competitive races in the sky. Other activities include pumpkin carvings, hay rides, face paintings, treats, games and live music.
Admission is free. Money raised through parking fees ($5 per vehicle) and purchases benefit the National Military Family Association and Challenged Child and Friends.
