Austell to buy 3 police cars

The Austell City Council voted 6-0 Monday to purchase three police cars.

Don Jackson Chrysler Dodge of Union City was the low bidder at $27,900 for each vehicle.

Two are 2015 models and one is a 2016.

Funding will come from the special purpose local option sales tax.
