The snow was mostly a no-show in metro Atlanta.

Only a few spotty showers and snow showers remain Tuesday evening, mainly across North Georgia, Channel 2 Action News meteorologist David Chandley said.

Pickens and Gilmer counties saw the heaviest snow, with a trace up to an inch.

There were numerous reports of flurries around the metro area, mostly north of I-20, Chandley said.

Temperatures will fall into the low 30s by Wednesday morning, with the day bringing decreasing clouds with highs in the upper 40s and low 50s, he said. Milder air will roll in by week's end, with highs in the mid 60s by Friday.
